I was in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for the weekend and was excitedly looking forward to the vegan eats as I'm limiting meat in January. I found the Coronado after a long flight and everything was delicious. I ordered the fried guac, the beet burger, and fries. The beet burger was so good I tried to come in before my flight back home for another but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. The cherry limeade was also good and not too sweet. Great spot and would love to visit again!

Absolutely unreal how good the food is here! Whether you're vegan or not (I'm not but I love vegan good and have many vegan friends) The Coronado is worth trying out. I've been here many times and will keep coming back. The food is delicious and the ambiance is warm, laid back and inviting and the service is always impeccable. I highly reccomend their buffalo cauliflower sandwich, mushroom burger or any of their tacos!

Everything was in order and the food was great. Pancakes were a family favorite. My only gripe is that the drip coffee ($5) should have free refills, it's breakfast and some of us need our extra coffee fix.

The Coronado has to be one of the best restaurants to visit in Phoenix. This vegan restaurant serves some of the most creative sweet and savory brunch dishes ranging from pancakes, tacos, burgers, salads, and burritos. Each dish is freshly made to order and is packed with unexpected flavor that will make you keep wanting more. I recommend getting their Coronado burrito, cauliflower tacos, buffalo cauliflower burgers, and any of their desserts. The restaurant is clean and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. The environment is pleasant and relaxed. I could definitely see myself hanging out here with family and friends while enjoying some delicious brunch! I will definitely visit again when I am back in Phoenix.

Eater named this place one of the 38 restaurants to try in the Phoenix area and recommended the beet and quinoa burger. So I went and got that. The burger was good and the vibes were great, but the service was subpar. Also, there is a disconnect with the online menu and the in-person menu. If you try to order the beet and quinoa burger online, you will see an option for "gluten allergy". However, there is no gluten free accommodation that they can make for the burger. Please update your online ordering system.

I came here with my family for my birthday, and we had the best brunch! I'm the only vegan in the family, and even my meat-eater parents and siblings thought the food was fantastic. I made a reservation for our group of 5 in advance, so we were seated at a nice corner booth. The place was busy but not full when we came in at 11am on a Sunday. Immediately we were greeted at our table by Juan, who introduced himself as the owner. He was extremely friendly and gave us a brief history of the place, and welcomed us to go next door to Dark Hall Coffee to grab coffee if we wanted and bring it back inside. My dad went next door for a latte, and also picked up a mini birthday cake for me as well! For food I had the brunch special for that day, which was an absolutely DELICIOUS loaded toast. The menu isn't huge, but everything is made from scratch and done exceptionally well. I will definitely be back again to work through the rest of the menu. After our meal our server brought us some plates and a knife for our cake, which was lovely. With the check they also bring you a little notebook that patrons write in, which I thought was really cute. All in all the food was absolutely incredible and everyone we interacted with was wonderful, highly highly recommend!

I recently went to The Coronado PHX. It was a close walk from where I was staying. Phoenix is very spread out and a car here is necessary. Being a car-free urban San Franciscan meant that I opted to use Lyft nearly daily in Phoenix yet appreciated being able to walk to The Coronado PHX. The Coronado PHX is 100 percent vegan. I loved seeing a full restaurant with so many folks eating vegan food. This made me very happy and like supporting vegan restaurants for that reason. I decided to go with the Vegan Chimichanga because I was in Arizona and the Chimichanga was apparently created in nearby Tucson so paying homage to Chimichanga is a good thing when in Arizona for when in Roman do as the Romans do is how the saying goes. The Chimichanga was quite alright and made with in house Quinoa Chorizo. I enjoyed it. Friendly service was here. The only thing that could have been better was the ambiance for didn't like the music that was playing. Not much to do about that yet all in all pretty solid and recommended if in Phoenix!

Wonderful vegan restaurant in the PHX area tucked away in the neighborhoods and offers delicious plant-based Mexican goodness. I came here to celebrate my sister's commencement from ASU and they were a highlight of the week. Our table started with their Fried Guacamole and their Cauliflower Bites. The guac was my Mom's favorite dish which speaks volumes since she rarely eats much outside of East Asian cooking. The bites were fine but a bit too salty for my liking. For our mains, we tried their Potato Tacos, Mushroom Tacos, Jackfruit Flautas, their California Burrito with cremini asada, and a Caesar Salad. Their potato and mushroom tacos were superb with the former really reminding me of Taco Bell but in the best way. The flautas were topped with a pickled slaw and the seasoned jackfruit really made the dish stand out. My parents enjoyed their burrito and salad as well, and didn't realize until the end of the meal that everything we had was plant based. The vibe inside was fantastic too. Nice mood lighting for a good atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend Coronado for anyone wanting a fantastic meal whether they eat plant-based or not. Everything was just delicious.
